Nilgiri Blue Mountain

The Western Ghats are a chain of mountains running along the southwestern coast of India. A range inside this chain is known as the Nilgiris, or Blue Mountains, so-called for the violet blossoms of ‘kurinji’ flower that periodically grace the slopes. Here, at splendid elevation in the tropics, marvelous teas are cultivated. This summer offering delivers a mild orange cup, with subtle notes of fruit sure to please.

Preparation: One heaping teaspoon per 8oz cup of filtered, boiling water. Allow to brew 3 minutes.
