Yakushima is a fairytale island of millennial cedars, and due to a maritime and rainy climate, a unique Shincha is cultivated. Before harvesting, the tea plants are shaded which is giving the first pick of the year sweetness, depth, and umami taste.

3g tea leaves (1 level Tealamass) to 8oz filtered water, boiled and cooled to 70°C/158°F (let the water cool for about 12 min. after boiling). Allow to brew 2 min.
