On the volcanic island of Jeju off the coast of South Korea the first tea plantations were established in 1983. Several years later now the world is looking toward this exciting, if small, area with its rich soils. Instead of its usual mostly green tea appearance Oolong presents itself differently here. Vigorous, intense, yet full of character and cheerful.
Multiple infusions are strongly recommended.
Tip: 12 g tea leaves (7 heaping Teelamass) per 1 liter filtered water, boiled and cooled for about 5-10 min. to 85°C/185°F. Allow to brew for 2 min.
